The paperwork
Terms of Service
Effective August 23, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Liberty Pines (“CheckCord,” “we,” “us”) covering your use of the CheckCord application and website. By installing or using CheckCord, you agree to them.
1. The service
CheckCord is software for dog training and boarding businesses: session logging with voice dictation and transcription, training records, skills tracking, vaccination records, kennel occupancy, client report cards, messaging, and billing documents — including features that connect to your CRM account.
2. Accounts and access
You sign in through your CRM or by email link; you are responsible for keeping access to those accounts secure and for the actions of the staff you invite. You must be at least 18 and using CheckCord for business purposes.
3. Your data
It’s yours. Business records you create in CheckCord — dogs, notes, recordings, report cards — belong to you. You grant us the license needed to host, process, and display that content in order to run the service, and nothing more. You can export your records or request deletion at any time (see the Privacy Policy).
You are responsible for having the right to store the information you put into CheckCord, including your clients’ contact details, and for the content of messages and documents you send through your connected accounts.
4. Fees
Paid plans are billed as presented at purchase (through the marketplace where you installed CheckCord, or directly by us). Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change pricing with at least 30 days’ notice before your next billing cycle.
5. Acceptable use
Don’t misuse the service. That includes: sending spam or messages without proper consent, uploading unlawful content, attempting to access other customers’ data, probing or disrupting the service, reselling it without an agreement, or using it to violate any law — including telemarketing and anti-spam laws that apply to messages you send.
6. Third-party services
CheckCord connects to services you control (such as your CRM account) and relies on service providers for hosting, transcription, and AI processing. Your use of a connected third-party service is governed by that service’s own terms. We are not responsible for third-party services we do not operate.
7. Our property
CheckCord’s software, design, and branding are ours. We give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service while these terms are in effect.
8. Disclaimers
CheckCord is provided “as is.” We work hard to keep it fast and reliable, but we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation, and automatic transcription and AI-assisted extraction can make mistakes — review anything important. CheckCord is a record-keeping tool; it does not provide veterinary, legal, or professional advice.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim arising out of the service is limited to the amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
10. Termination
You can stop using CheckCord and uninstall at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms. Upon termination, outgoing messages stop; your data remains available for export for 30 days, after which we may delete it.
11. Changes
We may update these terms as the service evolves. If a change is material we will give notice (in the app or by email) before it takes effect. Continuing to use CheckCord after a change means you accept it.
